When traveling on public transportation, please remember the following:
- Be aware of your surroundings. Most SEPTA customers use the same travel patterns each day and become very familiar with the stations, vehicles, SEPTA personnel, as well as other customers.
- Be alert for suspicious people or objects. NEVER confront an individual or attempt to touch or move a strange package. Please move away and notify SEPTA Police or SEPTA personnel immediately. Please remember: Do not use a cell phone in the vicinity of a suspicious package.
- Review emergency exit information posted in SEPTA stations and vehicles. Please also pay attention to the location of exits and safety equipment at stations, terminals, and vehicles.
